Weathertight cabin required to be built on site in Otaki Beach. Will be constructed 3m from boundary and 3m from house, so no consent required. Cabin to be circa 6m wide, buy 2.4m deep. Fine with using recycled joinery for doors / windows. Will need to be up off ground on piles by around 300-400mm. Lined in shadowclad. Internal to be lined in ply and walls insulated. Flat easy to access section. Preference is to have this built in the next 4-8 weeks.

Outdoor reparation

We have a corner of the Monolith-clad house that needs to be separated from the soil & drainage put in & also some reparation work to wooden planks on the side/underneath of the house. In conjunction this area needs landscaping/possible concreting. We are unsure of the costs, there are several aspects to the job & so dependant on what is agreed on to do. There is also a retaining wall that we would like to secure better, this could be included here or a separate job?

Kitchen renovation

I am about to renovate my kitchen and need a builder to cut open a wall and install french doors, close off the old door way and install a resized window, among other things. The pic with the sink below the windows, this is where the french doors will go (exterior is brick cladding), the pic of the window - this window will be replaced with a window that is higher from the floor to allow for a kitchen bench to go under it. The pic of the doorway is the area that will need to be closed off.

Remove internal wall, install HyOne support beam

We have an internal stud wall that spans half the lounge to be removed, to be replaced by a HyOne beam to span the entire room length. Council consent has been granted for the project and we'll supply drawings and documentation. As far as I know, you'll need to be LBP qualified to do consent work. House is 2 storey: Lower storey of concrete block and upper of framing+weatherboard, which is where the lounge is located. Keen to look through quotes and sort references for ASAP start.

Rain and run off is penetrating between a concrete path and an external garage wall allowing water to penetrate into the garage and creating concrete cancer. The concrete path needs to be removed (approximately 5m) , the debris removed, the block wall needs installation of a waterproof membrane from base to new path level, and the concrete path replaced with a gravel path. Locate and repair water leak in exterior wall of brick house. Three bottom tiers of bricks running for 1 mtr along an exterior wall look to be damp with wet green moss growing between them. The area is surrounded by a concrete path and gravel driveway on a sunny corner. Located on the same wall within 1 mtr of the damp patch:- outside tap, heat pump unit, fibre cable, down pipe.

Converting garage to include a sleepout. Put up a wall to Partition off garage. lay a level wooden floor over slab, and install used windows and door. This is initial job and wanting it done over next 2 weeks. Further down the track potentially gib and finish inside. Prefer a labour only job and someone who can access discounted materials.
