The builders report for my new property indicated that the chimney requires an assessment and some repair work. The chimney runs up the side of the house, before going through the roof. The lower part of the chimney has visibly pulled away from the house, leaving a gap between the chimney material and the weatherboard. There are also cracks in the chimney.
