I need a builder to build an eco home in the Tararua district next year (2021). Design includes a few different eco aspects probably not yet combined (strawbale or adobe / greenroof supported with i beams across container corners / Trombe wall and extended passive air conditioning system). I have recycled Rimu tongue and groove for interior walls, recycled Matai flooring and renovated claw bath amongst other things to be utilised. The 3rd room attached to the house needs the ceiling battened and gib'd. An existing window needs replacing. An internal wall needs to be partly removed and the remainder of the walls insulated and gib'd. One corner of the room needs to be framed and gib'd as this will become the ensuite. An existing workshop adjacent to the 3rd room needs the floor extended and finished as well as the wall being enclosed, insulated and gib'd.

My house is a 1910 farm house that's sitting on concrete piles. I Want the kitchen pushed out, all new, floor boards, weather boards, roof, windows and interior walls moved around. It's a complete new design that's basically stripped down to the frame work and built back up again. Definitely a big job and looking at 4 to 6 months too get it done. All depending on the bank loaning us money first. Need quote/ estimate from a builder too take too the bank.
