We are lookiung to purchase a chalet in the Turoa Village in Ohakune. The existing living are is quite small but opens on to an existing deck. We would like to get an estimate to build an extension to the front of the building approx 6m eters by 2 meters and install a fire place. Timber weather board for the external cladding and timber t&G finish to the interior. I would also like to reclad the exterior walls with a timber cladding to replace the existing fibreboard tiles.

The back of the house was damaged by fire. The demolition is completed and all asbestos has been removed. The house can be lived in while repairs are being done however the kitchen and bathroom will need to be a priority. Building consent has been approved but I may reduce the extension and just do the repairs. There is damage to a small portion of the roof over the bathroom.
