Townhouse Makeover

"A tired townhouse gets a magical and moody makeover" The renovation took a year, finishing in time for their home to be included in the NZ House & Garden House Tours in March 2024. Brendon and Lynn moved out for five months leaving their "highly efficient"" builder, Tierra Projects, kitchen designer Roz Macpherson and tradespeople to do their thing.

Riding for the Disabled

As part of the ongoing development of the site Tierra were engaged on a Design and Build contract to build a new administration block comprising reception, offices, staff facilities and storage areas. The existing viewing gallery was extended to form a large dividable meeting space with decks and separate access. A temporary first-aid space was removed and a dedicated first-aid and physiotherapy room build in its place. The existing outdoor area was covered with a waterproof shade structure and LED lighting was installed to transform it into an all-weather space and lighting installed to the existing indoor arena.

House of the Year 2022

Classic lines, traditional features and contemporary elements were expertly combined in this forever home. The main living area has an open-plan layout, with high raking ceilings and large glazed windows that capture the stunning rural vista. This flows to the carefully considered outdoor area and garden, providing a sublime setting for relaxing and entertaining.
