Fitted bookshelves for a large wall

Posted 1 week ago

We have this very large wall that we wish to fit with built-in bookshelves to the level of the ceiling meeting the walls - probably 50cm above the door into the room. Building pergola/cover for deck.

Posted 1 year ago

Hi, I’m looking to get some kind of pergola/covering for my back deck with it possibly extending to cover my back door which has almost no eaves for shelter. Looking for something a bit nicer/stylish/long lasting for example maybe made of a hard wood? and maybe painted? Would like it to have a clear covering. The roof that comes down to the deck is only about 2.3m high so also wondering if it would need to overlap the roof? The deck area is approx. 3.5-4m x 3-3.5m. I’ll attach some pictures of...

Bedroom Reno - loft/podium under bed for new storage area

Posted 1 month ago

My house is a small one, so need to create some storage space. Why not make a funky bedroom at the same time, right? Some example photos are below. The idea is to create a loft/span podium from one wall to the other, which will then have the bed on it, together with shelving at one end and a bedhead at the other. The underneath will then be an open storage space, which I will later close off with curtains or doors if I feel extravagant one day. A fascia will be needed on the edges, to neate...

Repair and waterproofing of old concrete foundation in renovated stucco 1948 house. Heavy rain leaks through the outside wall into the bathroom. Studs and gib wet and mouldy. Photos show inside corner of bathroom where leak is coming in. Skirting off and gib opened up to find leak. Vanity removed from here. Water runoff from the hill behind goes under the house and sits at the lowest point in front of the house, seeping in through the downstairs bathroom wall. Need an estimate soon thanks.
