New fire surround.

i have purchased an old house with no heating. i need to have the area around where a new fire will go framed up. a new concrete floor has been poured for hearth to go on ( Photo shows old hearth). Framing needs to be put in place so area can be lined before fire gets installed. The fire installation has a building consent.

I need a new manhole cut into the floorboards of a wardrobe floor (first photo). There is currently a small manhole in the other wardrobe (second photo), but the insulation installers tell me they need a bigger one to get the product down. The house is a 1930s brick bungalow with wooden floorboards throughout, with fairly low clearance. The wardrobe for the new manhole is bigger than the original, and the underfloor space here is deeper.
