We require a quote from a joiner/builder to assess and repair damage to our home. When washing the exterior of the house water somehow came through the wall and through above the window/door frame. It has pushed the frame down exposing the gib. We need to find how the water got in, check the other windows along side this window, repair the cause and also repair the frame. The house is a 1903 cottage with a small deck out front but no veranda. We’d like to move one window and replace with French doors, move that window to another wall and build a bullnose veranda out the front over the deck. Needs to fit in with the overall design of the house so will require someone who likes old houses. Will require the builder to source suitable doors.Not moving til March so the job can start then.

wanting a low balustrade/fence for a deck. Length about 9m in total. Want to be able to see through it at it is not for privacy - just so kids don't fall off the deck. Maybe 700mm high. Can be fairly temporary as I'll probably remove it next year when kids are older. It's basically to replace the green shade cloth fence in these photos.

Due to other more immediate work arising, we need to start again with our deck plans, starting with a small one. The current deck/porch leading to front door is breaking (as bad as the original deck I've knocked down), so it needs replacing and we would like to go out to edge of path pictured. Total size = 3690mm x 2000mm. Will need steps as well.
