New powerpoint in roof space

Posted 1 month ago

I need a powerpoint installing in the roof space of my property so I can plug in a new extractor fan. There are various electrical wires in the roof space already so I'm thinking it shouldn't be too tricky (hopefully). I may also need a switch for the fan installing but again there is a switch in the wall so I'm thinking it shouldn't be too trick to pull another cable through. The fan is already in place.

Garage electrical works

Posted 1 month ago

I have a large workshop that has single and 3 phase power. The shed is largely unlined, so access to wiring is easy. There are 3 jobs that need doing. 1. Overhead lights are two banks of hanging bayonet fixtures. When a standard incandescent bulb is fitted in any of these fittings it blows immediately. Only longlife bulbs seem to last, and I am down to one remaining working bulb. 2. One of the single phase power circuits keeps (spectacularly!) blowing a circuit breaker. I suspect a power outle...

This needs to be done in the next few weeks. We'd also need a second visit in late November to connect the spa pool when delivered to the new power point, and wire in to a spa heat pump on the delivery day.

Venting to outside

Posted 2 months ago

We have a single-storey rental property in Kaitawa Crescent, Ppm. To pass the Healthy Homes standard, the extractor fan needs to be vented to the outside. (It currently vents into the loft.) Access to the roof space is easy and there is generally someone home during the daytime. I don't think the job would be huge and it would be good to get it done as soon as possible, for the benefit of our tenants. (The property is fully compliant in all other respects.) Thank you.
