My house is 100 years old. Iv had a new roof and insulation recently done and we lay some new lighting wiring and added another double hotpoint circuit to the kitchen plus lay the wiring to 16 new double hot point sockets with regulation numbers on each loop. All wires are labeled and rolled in the roof above the old fuse box with plenty of excess to work with. I just bought a new fuse box to replace the dangerous looking 100 year old one. We have an old house that the insurance company requires a certificate from a registered electrician saying its been rewired. We think it has, but we need an electrician to come out and have a look and issue us with a certificate stating that. If it needs some rewiring then we will need a quote for the cost of the rewiring. Also have an old light switch that needs looking at as we cant turn it off (its an old one that requires you to pull a string to turn it on and off)
