Hi - I have a Thetford C-200 cassette toilet fitted in a caravan in rural Waihou. The caravan is on mains supply. Recently the pump which draws water from the cistern to flush the toilet stopped working. Investigation showed that the 3 amp blade fuse had blown, but a replacement fuse immediately blew, leading me to think the pump itself has shorted, or there's some other electrical fault. We currently have an 'old' switchboard for our power etc, and our power company wants to install a Smart Meter. They sent out a technician, who concluded 'there is no room on switchboard. There is not enough area on board to fit a 10D meter unless fuses are shifted'. Notes go on to advise 'This is also an asbestos board'. What we need to know is: 1.
