Sitting across from a woman that packs so much into her days is inspiring, not only because of that drive but the clever way she has arranged her life to make it possible. She tells me "I’m doing a full-time PhD and I’m doing full-time work, so for me, I have lots to do and absolutely no time. I also have a teenager who’s almost 16, who is extremely social. Every weekend there are at least five to seven friends invited, and they are having a sleepover. I come home, and I'm like, “I left it nice and tidy, what happened?”.  Michelle and her son moved into their home three years ago, and with a laugh explains “how things were starting to fall apart and in need of repair”. Bathroom has no installed extractor fan at present. We would need a quiet fan installed above the shower. There is nearby roof-space access, and easy roof access. An active decision has been made to install not into the soffit. We would need to keep costs low - so we'd want the fan wired up to one of the two existing light switches. Rental purchase - extraction required

Posted 2 months ago

We're buying a rental investment property on 28 June. The building report advised that we need to add extraction to the bathroom and kitchen to comply with landlord obligations. Not sure if I'll need a builder to do that, but assume I'll at least need an electrician to get it wi...
