Outsourcing Housework Freed Up Precious Time For This Busy Homeowner

Busy homeowner Michelle holds down parenting, full-time work and studying towards her PhD. She shares with us how she used Builderscrack to outsource her housework so she could focus on the important stuff... How It Started To say Michelle is a driven person is an understatement. Sitting across from a woman that packs so much into her days is inspiring, not only because of that drive but the clever way she has arranged her life to make it possible. She tells me "I’m doing a full-time PhD and I’m doing full-time work, so for me, I have lots to do and absolutely no time. I also have a teenager who’s almost 16, who is extremely social. Connect existing fibre to existing Ethernet port

We had broadband a couple of years ago and had an electrician come in and install an Ethernet port in our home office. About a year and a half ago we upgraded to fibre and since then we have not had any internet through the Ethernet port. I assume this is because it is not wired up to our fibre box. What we are after is our home office Ethernet port to be connected to our fibre box so we can get optimal Wired internet speed.

Extractor fan for small bathroom to meet Healthy Homes Standard

We have a small L-shaped bathroom (approx 6-8m2) that needs an extractor fan installed so that the room meets the Healthy Homes Standard. The intake vent will likely need to be installed at the end of the 'L', on the toilet side of the bathroom near the old roof cavity access (see photos), as there is a newer small attic directly above the main part of the bathroom (between door and shower) with no possible access for a fan or vent.
