I have an older house in which all the galvanized piping has been replaced except for that between the mains water meter and the house.   The water pressure has been constantly lower than normal mains pressure since purchasing this house in 2012. When the galvanised pipe to the hose tap, in photo 1, was replaced a few years ago, a lot of corrosion was found inside the pipe.
