We are looking to purchase a 190m2 2 story house built 1989. The building report identifies cedar weatherboard that is in need of re staining or painting. Cupping is apparent on some boards and some may need replacing. We are not sure what the potential cost of this would be. so some quick rough order costs for this work would be appreciated so we know what we would be in for if purchasing the house.

Quick check over small house I intend to buy. It's modern and week build just need it checked for insulation and any obvious problems. It's one of 6 built at same time and I see no obvious problems but an hour of someone's time to have an experienced eye to look over it is what I want. I don't need a full builders report just happy to pay someone for an hour to come and check it for me before it goes unconditional. Many thanks.

Water seeping in under roller door - Concrete work required?

I have a roller door in my shed. When it rains water seeps in under the door. There is a rubber seal on the bottom edge of the door but the water still seeps in possibly because of the slope of the concrete floor. I will need to you make an appointment to visit our shed, then to come back to me with what needs to be done to stop the water seeping in, and to provide a quote please.

All fascias need attention on this 1984 two-storey townhouse, mostly no eaves. Some wood is rotten. Repair, seal, paint, replace etc needed. Some sealing of cracks on exterior wall surface needed also. See photo below of an example on the first floor level.

I have a semi open , internal, stair well and would like the open part to be walled in , the old railing removed and a new hand rail attached. I also have a wall that has a textured surface I want removed, a cavity slider installed and the entire wall, approx 8 metres, to be replaced with new gib and plastered to paint finish.

Making a plywood template for outdoor seating set
