The almost flat tin roof leaks and requires replacing but I need to get it through one more winter as plan on doing larger renovation extension in 2022. The guttering recently completed has a gap which has appeared between the gutter and downpipe, was obviously just too short so now has opened up with the recent heavy rain. I have the joiner section to do the job, just cannot get to the gutter itself. A thought was to jam a plank between the rails on the deck and walk out the 1.5M to where the downpipe is but am a bit weary.

I would like to install a downpipe off an existing gutter as the current downpipe can't cope with the amount of water it needs to (even during regular rains). This downpipe will need to go through a deck (see pic) and out to an existing drain by the garage (see pic - wood will be moved.
