I have a property in Carterton that I am wanting to have reroofed (on advice of a building report). It also has an external chimney that I would like the "top" part removed and roofed over so it no longer functions as I chimney (I will be installing a heat pump inside for tenants). We have built a simple gable roof style 3m x 3m pergola that now needs roofing. We think everything is ready for a corrugated roof to go on plus gutters and downpipes. We would like Metalcraft Roofing, "Corrugate" coloured new denim blue. One side of the pergola is close to the fenceline so we may have to get the neighbour's permission to access their section from the rugby club grounds at the back of our sections.

My carport has a corrugated Clearlight roof. When we get a big wind a couple of sheets at one end lift off and flail around during big gusts. The fastenings have pulled through the clearlight despite previous repairs. I think the best solution is to replace the sheets involved with longrun corrugated iron or coloursteel. The span is about 4.45m. The problem only exists at one end of the carport, so there is no need to re-roof the whole thing. (FYI - I'm also making a few changes to alter t...
