Sleep out foundation

Pole House Floor Joist Re-Levelling

I have a pole house in Titirangi. One of the poles has not settled at the same rate as the rest of the house. This pole is only supporting part of the surrounding deck so is carrying far less weight than the rest of the poles. As a consequence a number of floor joists are now out of level and becoming distorted due to the uneven stress. What I require is the the stress caused by this pole to be relieved and the affected joists re-levelled. Obviously a site visit will be required for more detail...

Dig out about 22 damaged curbstones and install new - "drive on type" tilt curbstones. Move and install the new tilted horizontal type curb stones about 300 mm further into the flower bed and compact the ground with base metal material and overlay with asphalt. To be done within the next 35 days.

House leveling

After the recent storms we have noticed increasing high spots in our flooring in particular along the centreline of the house. There is also some cracking in the walls as the house appears to have shifted. We have decent access under the property for an inspection.

Our house was flooded in the January floods, and we have been working through the process with our insurers. They engaged EQC, who have now confirmed the issue doesn't lie with them to rectify, so I now need to get quotes for insurance.
