Repair rust issue under std 6x4 trailer

Posted 3 days ago

There are several rust holes in the bottom of the horizontal subframe box section steel bar at the front of trailer (see photo) attached to drawbar and other frame parts front of trailer). Rust could be cut out then patched but probably best to replace the box section bar. It is 1600mm long and cross section 50mm x 20mm Must be brought to warrantable standard. There are no other issues.

Residential 3m width driveway 1 in 4 gradient, like a bridge

Posted 1 week ago

Hello! I have a steep slope site in Stanmore Bay, Whangaparaoa. I need to provide driveway access to it. Building timber pole retaining walls is possible, but expensive. My non-NZ registered engineer recommends a different approach... Please see some drawings below. I know how much getting the concrete poured onto metal will cost and even the price of raw metal. But fabricating this will be quite a job... I'd like to get some estimates to see that it is feasible and then proceed with co...

Our kids basketball stand has become damaged. It is a steel pole attached to a plastic base using screws but the base is now damaged and the screws keep popping out of the base. A new steel base may be more suitable. Or any other solution that you may be able to come up with. Not an urgent job but ideally completed within 4-6 weeks. Thanks.

Posted 2 weeks ago

Hi, We need x2 metal stands to display flowers on (pics attached) made on a square base. They need to be lightweight (ish) as we move them between jobs. One needs to be approx 1.5 metres high and the other approx 1 metre high, approx 50cm deep and made from lightweight metal and (if possible) coated to look like copper or gold. We also need to include delivery to Ponsonby if possible. Any questions, let me know. Thanks, Rosie.
