I have over 26+ years of formal experience in the design and building industry as an architectural designer and structural draughtsperson. I hold an NZCD (Arch) qualification and am a Licensed Building Practitioner (LBP) with a Design Level 2 licence.
I have completed the design and drawings for numerous residential internal alterations and extensions, ranging from small single-room additions to projects that more than doubled the size of existing homes. This work has included bathrooms and ensuites (with tiled or acrylic showers), kitchens, bedrooms, lounges, and more. I have also designed conversions of garages into sleepouts with their own bathroom, laundry, lounge, and other amenities.
In addition, I have drawn many new homes, ranging in size from 107 to 740 square meters, on city, town, and rural sites. These have included "spec" homes for builders and developers, as well as bespoke family homes for many new and returning clients. The structural systems I have worked with include timber framing, precast concrete tilt panels, and Poly and SIP panels.
I have also been involved in several large commercial and industrial projects.
I am happy to discuss extensions, alterations, new builds, or rebuilds for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
Over the years, I have built a reliable and capable support network, including engineers, surveyors, builders, and subcontractors — all of whom I can call upon as needed.
