Hi, Registered Architect with over 35yrs experience in a wide range of projects from Residential new builds, alterations, additions, house relocations and sub-divisions, to Multi Unit Projects up to 90 units, apartments up to 4 stories, and Commercial Work along with retail fitouts. I generally work to fixed fee's based on the extent of the project and hours involved and we agree those before work starts so that there are no surprises. I like to explain at the start what is involved, not just for my aspect but also what else will be needed to get the project to completion, including any likely other fees there may be for other consultants. Happy to work within your budget and needs and discuss so we can get a project across the line.

David was great to work with. He was clear, professional, and very knowledgeable throughout the design and consent process. He guided us through council requirements, coordinated well with the fire engineer, and was always responsive when questions came up. His advice helped avoid issues and kept the project moving in the right direction. Would definitely recommend David for commercial fit-outs and architectural work.

Would highly recommend David of C4. He has a wealth of knowledge in the Building industry beyond just making drawings. He took my house design and brought it to life. He was easy to talk to and was patient to explain anything I didn't understand or queried. No question was too stupid! I preferred dealing with one person for continuity not through a large Company system. Because he works from home we were able to talk outside office hours which was at night or in the weekend if needed.

David did the design of our new house from a ready floorplan to working drawings and passed it through council. Through the long process, he has been helpful and explained everything, giving advice and generally being a great asset during a challenging time. The only small hitch was that the project went a bit longer than expected, but at a time where all the building industry is going nuts, that's to be expected. He has been brilliant to work with and I highly recommend him!

David is a very good Architect however there are sometimes alternative ways of designing to achieve a more cost efficient result without compromising on quality. I discovered this as the job went on so perhaps a little more discussion with both builders and the Architect before committing to final drawings would provide informed decisions.
