Polished concrete

Most homes are built on concrete slabs so it does not take much extra work to leave some of that slab uncovered to create a polished concrete floor rather than a carpeted or tiled area. To achieve the right finish, the concrete is ground and then either simply sealed or sealed and polished to a shine.
