Skylight Leak

The skylight in our rental property is leaking. There are a pair of skylights, this one by the wall looks to have an issue with the flashing at the high point. From the outside it looks like someone has used silicone in the past for this skylight. It is a tiled roof.

Leaking skylight

From the inside looking up it looks like water can get in on one of the higher edges. Might just be the seal between the glass and the frame. I only noticed it drip once but I can see the wood discoloured and some mould there where it dripped from. Not a big leak but not condensation either. It dripped when it was raining heavily. It’s about 4 meters up from inside and I haven’t been able to get a close look. I have 3 skylights that can be checked but only noticed an issue on this one. It’s the...

Skylight repair +/- possibly replacement

Has 15+ year old skylight in the family room, trickles of rain leaking only intermittently (wind strength/direction dependent it seems). Might be a problem with the skylight itself rather than flashing. On decramastic roof tiles. Hoping to get someone to inspect and repair, who has experience with decramastic tiles so that there are new damages to the existing roof. Happy to discuss replacement if cost reasonable.

Repair Velux Skylight

We've got a leak which looks to be coming from the flashing of our Velux skylight. The flashing is in a pretty bad condition. We've tried using silicone to repair (without success). The skylight is estimated to be 30 years old.

Conservatory Skylights #2

Conservatory skylights have slipped down. There are 3 panels that need to be moved back up. Unsure if I need a glass tradesman or a builder or both. The glass panels need to be moved back up and secured from the bottom to stop them from falling again. There are small gaps and water is leaking through into the house. We have a small bathroom which we want to replace the light fixture with either a Solartube or Sun Tunnel type product. We are not sure of the measurements in the ceiling. You would probably have to do a site visit to scope out best product.
