Recent Wellington Skylights jobs

Occasionally get a rain/water leak in bathroom ceiling through light fittings. This has been happening over more than a year or two. Is not significant but I expect some gradual damage which will be getting worse. Bathroom has installed skylight in ‘lean-to’ ceiling. Need some help to work out the source of the leak and expected repair work needed. Thanks

Repair leak in roof/skylight

Hi there, we have a narrow skylight in our kitchen that has recently started leaking. It looks like maybe some of the seal has come off or lifted up during the recent high winds and heavy rain. It would be good to have a temp fix to stop the leak from doing more damage immediately (If it makes sense to put in something temporary) and then a quote to do a complete fix. There is some water damage to the ceiling, but it might just need to dry out for that to be ok.

2 large fixed skylights -small leak in both

The house is circa 27yo and we are getting roof painted. This has highlighted that each has a small leak. The roofer suggested we get a skylight specialist to look as there may be more than just flashing. Currently there is EP scaffolding in place so it would be great if you could take a look and if possible do any repairs while the scaffolding is in place. Hard to have an idea of expected cost. Could be quite low but prepared if it is more than the immediate leaks.

My skylight is leaking into a bedroom when there is heavy rain and a southerly. My friend who is a retired plumber/roofer had a look at the skylight and said that it needs maintenance - cleaning and clearing it out so that it no longer leaks. I would like this job completed as soon as possible - by early May would be great.
