Navigating Wet Lawns - One Family's Solution

Hiring Jared, from Firth Landscapes, for a few days work was the ideal solution to put an end to one family's soggy lawn crossings this winter...... The Job Liz needed a garden path extended. One already existed, but it stopped short of the lawn, which meant that every time anyone in her family went to the washing line, or woodshed, they had a stretch of often wet and muddy lawn to cross. Liz had the pavers to match her existing path, she had made the plan and measured up exactly where the path would go, all she needed was to find a willing tradie. The Solution It was during this search that she came across builderscrack.co.nz. She immediately liked the way only tradies interested in doing the job were presented to the homeowner. For Liz, who works full time, it meant she could cut out the time-consuming step of “cold-calling” tradies to see if they were even interested in her job. She decided to give this new way of finding a tradie ago, she posted her job, added

Experience of and references for ponds obviously advantageous. Potentially a line of cobbles and some stepping stones to be laid around the pond garden too.

Garden / Lawn Edging Replacement

We're looking to replace the edging between our lawn and garden beds. We're thinking of using 100 x 100 (or 100 x 75) H4, or painted H3 wood to give a wide edge between lawn and garden beds. There's roughly 80m of edging in our garden. All straight lines, no curves, with a few corners and a couple of angled sections, but mainly long straight lines.
