Waterproof and repair garage

Double garage in central Wellington needs repaired. Garage has flat roof which will need to be waterproofed with an appropriate sealant. Inside of garage will need several beams replaced which have rotten away. No hurry with this job so happy for tradesman to take his time and fit around other jobs. Job can be inspected anytime of the day from the road at 7 Maurice Terrace, Te Aro (Maurice Tce is a small private road off the south end of The Terrace)

Wallpaper spare room

I want my spare room wallpapered with 'painton' textured wall paper which I will then paint. Room is 2.6m high and is roughly 2.3m x 3m. It has one reasonable sizedwindow (wooden frame). The walls have been replastered and I'm keen to do the preparation (size the walls etc) to keep the cost down. I have the wallpaper.

Remove carpet/lino & polish floorboards

Carpet Laying

We have some good quality second hand carpet and underlay to replace the carpet in our upstairs area, three bedrooms and stairwell, with a small landing area. We need an experienced carpet layer to to complete this job. There is bedroom furniture in each of the rooms which will need to be juggled about to complete the job so may need an extra pair of hands for some of the work.

Concreting Back Yard

We have a very nice flat section at the back, which currently is not being used as much as it really should be. We intend to conrete ( aggregrate ) a portion of the same and then place top soil and lawn seed etc. But this job will be for concreting the back yard possible L-Shaped.

Fix bathroom door

I need the door handle re-attached to my bathroom door. But the hole where the door handle was screwed in has been wrecked by the screw coming loose too many times so that the screw will now no longer stay embedded in the door, so the door needs to be repaired.

Replacing 3 sections of carpet

We need 3 or 4 small sections of carpet replaced with some spare carpet that we have, due to staining.that we can't get out - each less than a metre squared. Looking for a carpet-fitter or someone else that has experience is this kind of job. We're in central Wellington - ideally we'd like it done before Friday night if at all possible - we're in most of the day.

Help with Tivo unit and needing help with signal (satellite dish)??

Good Morning, I currently have Telstra Clear set up at home with a satellite dish but my partner and I want to save some money, so we are considering TIVO. As TIVO works on a normal aerial, we think that TIVO wont work in our area of Karori. As a normal aerial at our house does not give us very good reception. That was the reason for going to telstraclear in the first place. When we went to talk to the lady at the Telecom store in town, she said that TIVO may be able to be connected...

Re-installa wooden curtain rail

My wooden curtain track fell down a few weeks ago. I have all the components, but the brackets need re-fixing - possibly with a bit of extra reinforcing on the wall or a plug to screw it into as the middle bracked has come out with a chunk of plaster.

Carpet Layer - small job

Looking to relay a section of my lounge carpet which was partially pulled up due to repiling. Will reuse existing underlay and carpet. The pulled up area of carpet is 410mm wide by 170mm long approx. Will require new 410mm naplock bar in champagne colour. Job will need to be done on Thurs 1 July 2010 or after, when repiling work finishes.

Kitchen cabinet cut for dishwasher
