Outsourcing Housework Freed Up Precious Time For This Busy Homeowner

Busy homeowner Michelle holds down parenting, full-time work and studying towards her PhD. She shares with us how she used Builderscrack to outsource her housework so she could focus on the important stuff... How It Started To say Michelle is a driven person is an understatement. Sitting across from a woman that packs so much into her days is inspiring, not only because of that drive but the clever way she has arranged her life to make it possible. She tells me "I’m doing a full-time PhD and I’m doing full-time work, so for me, I have lots to do and absolutely no time. I also have a teenager who’s almost 16, who is extremely social. Every weekend there are at least five to seven friends invited, and they are having a sleepover. I come home, and I'm like, “I left it nice and tidy, what happened?”.  Michelle and her son moved into their home three years ago, and with a laugh explains “how things were starting to fall apart and in need of repair”. It wasn't only hard finding the tim

Hedge trimming & pruning job - Lower Hutt

Posted 2 months ago

Hi, we would like the hedge that runs most of the way down the right side of our property trimmed on our side & also reduced in height. It's a wide hedge & also pretty tall (maybe 3m?). See pics. We would like it reduced in height to around 2m, so this is more than just a trim off the top. Happy to answer any questions. Cheers

Just need a bit of help keeping up with the weeds so that I can do the fun stuff! We have a green waste disposal bin here that you can use, and most tools you’d need (but you may like to bring your own). Photos are examples only - similar sort o...

Trim weeds on section - recurring job

Posted 1 month ago

I've got a ~15 x 20m section with a couple of fruit trees, in between weeds/grasses/gorse are growing and need to be trimmed to ground level. Obviously the fruit trees should not be harmed. It is a sloping section; steep at the top, almost level at the bottom. All waste can be left at the bottom of the section. This will be a recurring job. Think once every 2 months should be sufficient, but can be discussed.

Trailer load of green waste removal - Waterloo

Posted 2 months ago

Have done some clearing and now have a large pile of green waste that needs getting rid of - Have done all the clearing, just need someone to pick up the stuff and take it away. Quite a large pile, but I'm pretty sure all of it could fit into a cage trailer with some persuasion. Mostly vines, there is a tree in there but that can be chopped down smaller if need be, there's a chainsaw lying around as well. Prefer during the week after 5pm for a pickup, but weekend is fine as well. Driveway...
