Crack has developed in the gib within the house between the dinning room and the family room. Doors within the family room are misaIigned by 10-15mm. I think the floor has dropped and needs to be relevelled. We are about renovate and need this repaired before we start.

Foundation/building assessment for remedial work

My house is of hollow fill construction. Built 1989. On wood pole foundations. I have interior cracks in the walls and three ridges in the floor. Worst this year with the drought. Seeking assessment/information on what remedial work is required. Expert opinion. Only reply if you have a well known track record in providing assistance.

Concrete steps relevel

Concrete steps have slumped in dry weather and have pulled corner of house down a little. Soil is clay. Need to lift and reposition steps with reinforced foundation and relevel corner of house. Fibrolite, timber frame. Timber posts on concrete piles. Or replace steps ,and relevel corner of house

Underpinning small, old house

We have a small, old house which is starting to show a few cracks in the walls, and the doors are starting to g et stuck. I'd really like this fixed before the winter storms start, if possible. My husband has been under the house and he says that it appears that the piles have sunk a bit. (Contact number given is for my husband, not me.)

Garage concrete base check

We currently have a garage with concrete base (6 X 6M). However we are looking to potentially renovate the garage but want to check the base meets requirements for any future work or if we would have to get it relaid or sealed? We need someone to come and check the base and let us know. Will pay for this unbias expert advice.

Levelling the floor, looking at the piles.

I've noticed one side of my house sloping down over the last few mon --- piles themselves look fine, but they look slightly sunken with respect to the ground around them. I live right beside a railway line and I reckon the vibrations from passing freight trains might cause this. The ground is very dry and cracked. I'm certainly not an expert, but I reckon that part of the house may have sunken by as much as an inch. I can see where some piles have been packed, so it may be that the previous...

We have a concrete slab that needs pouring. The slab is 13m x 7m. Concrete is booked and ordered, just need it poured and finished. Flat rear section with clear and easy access. Looking for someone who can do it on the 30th January. Note old photo, obviously the slab will be back filled with steel etc all in place ready to go.

Moving house foundations need repair.

I'm looking for an experienced tradesperson to repair 3-5 foundation posts. There are 1 or 2 which are twisting and moving; causing the bathroom floor to have movement and another 1 or 2 that have been undermined due to previous house owner digging away the clay soil surrounding the foundation. This is an urgent job so I will appreciate getting quotes underway within the next week.
