Piling: re piling required levelling required..? or

The house we're investigating at the moment prior to purchase is a 1950's building.. its on a sloping ground. I've got concerns over the current timber piling works. It looks like joists & bearers are original whereas timber piles have been done at a later stage (I'm guessing DYI). IT's got no connections, and several of them are tilting.... Could you please advise whether this will need whole new piling..? or is there more cost efficient way of making this right..?

Small Paving job

Hi. Just recently I have had stone wall and fence done. At current there is electrical work is being done for fence light. The ground is dug up to run the cables and would like these concrete sealed. It is about 20mtr all up and 30 to 40cm wide and 40cm deep. Thanks

One of the corner pile is partially exposed, The building inspector suggested that it does not need replacing. That it needs to be sured up around it or an additonal support pile set next to it.

New Build Groundwork

We are building a new house in West Auckland. We need to find a tradesman for the concrete foundation and slab, piles, excavations and retaining. Ideally, we would prefer one person to do the whole lot, but are happy to look at 2/3 tradesman if the pricing and availability works out. The site is bare land, so no removal to consider. We would like to start groundwork late October 2016, early November 2016 if at all possible. Detailed building and structural plans and geo-technical report...

House of 2 halves

The house is positioned on a slope and it looks as though it has droped on one side, my thoughts are that the house has been relocated in two halves and was badly positioned on poorly grounded piles. You can stand up under the house as it is about a 2.7 high stud. can i please have some on e canme and give me a quote to rectify. First home buyers - building inspection help

Just had a building inspection done on a property and this has come up with connections missing - no bracing has been fitted to timber piles as required by building code, and also no ventilation for basement area, a copy of the building inspection and photos can be sent, need someone to give us an indication of the implications and a cost for bringing this up to code

Leaking Foundations...

I have a downstairs rumpus room in my house that is leaking through the foundations. I have only had this property for 3 months. The foundations will need to be dug out and then and then waterproofed. It will probably also need a retaining wall will need to be built and some sort of drainage.

Need concrete supplied and placed for a 65 m2 waffle or pod slab for a garage floor.Concrete pump will be required with approx 120 m of pipe length. 25 Mpa mix with 19 mm aggregate required. A smooth professional steel troweled finish is required. A rebate for the door is also required. I need a price for the whole job. All formwork, reinforcing and pod placement complete.Council approval has been obtained. 11 m3 of concrete will do the job.

Urgent pile replacement.

We need a pile in our foundations replaced and the access doorway to our underfloor to be re-framed. Access to underfloor is easy and pile is exposed already. Believe this requires a builder's consent from council and would be looking for someone to take care of the paperwork side as well. Want to get this sorted ASAP.
