Take down chimney

This house is an old state house. I have a small bedroom with two small wardrobes. The chimney is in the wall in the middle of those two wardrobes. I want to take down the chimney and the 2 small wardrobes and build a big wardrobe. The roof will need to be fixed after is chimney is out.

Finish installing pantry cupboard in kitchen

I purchased a flat pack pantry cupboard which has been put together but to make it fit the existing kitchen I need a carpenter to finish this off. It needs the kick board installed, a cupboard over the fridge repaired (if possible), a spacer installed and a hole cut for a electrical plug.

Shower Plumbing Alterations

We need to have an existing mixer/shower head changed so that the shower head stays where it is. The mixer needs to be moved to a lower level so that people don't have to reach up to turn the shower on. We would also like to replace the shower head to make it height adjustable (slider type). This would involve a new mixer and shower head (height adjustable slider type) and some plumbing and minor building work.

New Wardrobe

We have a old chimney that we are not using any more and it was built in between the walls of our bedroom and the lounge. The harth hole is just being covered by a heater attached to a woodboard. Exterior Wall cladding and weatherboard

Replace Window sill on double sash window

EEEK this is a biggy. The windowsill on my double sash window is rotten. I have been told the whole windo must come out and them a new sill made and then all fitted together again. Depending on the cost (as the window is in the loungeroom) I may decide to replace the window with french dorrs - so would like to get an idea of price for that at the same time. 1920s villa - the photo is not the actual window but gives you an idea of the house.

Door frame and skirting replacement

I am in the process of stripping the paint off my internal doors/frames and skirtings to expose the native rimu. There are certian sections that have been replaced over the years with pine and there is one doorframe (internal) that is not in good shape and will need rebuilding.
