Install a gas hob

We have a freestanding electric oven with gas hob to install which we want to run off small bbq-sized gas bottles. We can do some of the work ourselves - drilling the holes to connect to outside, bottle housing etc. We are looking for advice on how best to run this setup, some hands-on work to connect everything, and making sure it's all compliant and safely installed.

Connect a new gas hob.

We are changing from an electric to a gas hob. Our house is connected to mains gas with central heating and water. There is good/ reasonable access under house through a garage. The gas lines are visible. It would be really great to be able to get this connected tomorrow 23rd or Wednesday. Short notice I know. We live in ngaio, Wellington.

Install gas heater with flue

I have a Rinnair 556FTR that I would like installed in my living room. The job will require running a gas line from the meter up the side of the house into the living room. The living room is located on the second floor directly above the gas metre. The gas heater will be located flush against the living room wall and the flue will exit directly from the wall to the outside. The house is wooden. I have looking initally for quotes for the job.

Hot water cylinder has died so looking at different hot water systems including gas and external electric hot water cylinder. For gas, my property is not currently connected and about 25 to 30 metres from road connection. Are there any companies that do free line work as part of package?

Installing Bonaire Gas Furnace, ducting and controller

Hi – we've got a Bonaire furnace ready for installation in our ceiling cavity. Looking for someone to connect the gas plus supply and install the flue, ducting and controller. Experience with Bonaire units would be handy, think it's missing a couple of spigots for attaching the ducting. Ideally looking for a reasonable rate on running the ducting (esp. if the apprentice will do it) or someone happy to let me help with that bit. We'd like to be all setup within the next 6 weeks.

Install LPG gas fireplace

We have bought a shop-used free standing Rinnai gas fireplace. We need it installed in place of our current free standing wood-burning fireplace. Flue (through ceiling/roof) is the same diameter. We have no natural gas available in our area, so the Rinnai unit needs to be converted to LPG. We also need to build a place to have large gas bottles stored so they can be refilled/replaced as required. This needs to be at the other end of the house from the fireplace location.

We had an old Rinnai (natural) Gas hot water cylinder crap out about a month ago and flood most the house. Insurance has sorted the damage except we need to pay for a new cylinder or alternative water heater...Also, house is on the market so we are considering best cost/value adding option.
