Install LPG gas fireplace

Job description

Fireplace & Gas Heating
Wellington

Published on 4 August 2012

We have bought a shop-used free standing Rinnai gas fireplace. We need it installed in place of our current free standing wood-burning fireplace. Flue (through ceiling/roof) is the same diameter. We have no natural gas available in our area, so the Rinnai unit needs to be converted to LPG. We also need to build a place to have large gas bottles stored so they can be refilled/replaced as required. This needs to be at the other end of the house from the fireplace location.

Excellent communications. Greg was friendly and kept us informed at all times. There was a slight problem with his not being familiar with converting a Rinnai gas fire to LPG, but this was easily fixed. Overall excellent workmanship.
