Didnt provide contract then went over agreed amount. Failed to read plans correctly and follow thrm to tge building code. Didnt complete job and overall workmanship was not good. Turned nasty when questioned about things.

Studio room renovation

Well what a year to build, Ethan has done a pretty good job under the circumstances as materials and components are pretty difficult to source at present, (this project has had a huge wait on materials to arrive, which has been out of Ethan's control) , we also had a few teething issues along the way but Ethan managed and handled them like a pro, a bit of advice, communication is the key, always keep your customers informed with what is going on and what the proposed work-fronts are etc

Install new windows and shift a wall

The plans weren’t followed, plans for the wall said 13mm gib, builder only left 10mm either side. We now have to pay the council to have the plans changed or pull part of the wall down and redo it. I did mention this to them after I paid and never got a reply.

Not good with communication,often don't answer calls,fail to keep me informed unless I get onto them,two weeks have gone by still waiting on flashing,was going to give number to ring about flashing but has so far not given number.

Labour & some materials only

Doing good so far - ours is a difficult renno at a difficult time if year. I already had quotes for stages of the renno. This made it difficult for the builder to tie everything in. We had some issues with getting sub-contractirs, deliveries, installation instructions & communication with suppliers. They're doing their best & I'm happy with the workmanship to date

I think this trades person must be very busy, that after I received his text reply to arrange suitable time to come take look at the Job for quote, then he never shows up, and just didn’t respond to all the text I have sent anymore. I wondering is this person still in the same business or????
