Designshop Architecture is an award winning business handling all sizes and types of project, new work, alterations and additions, covering conceptual design, estimating, contract documents, building/resource consents, and tendering. Ken the Principal of Designshop is a licensed building practitioner (Design 2), N.Z.C.D Arch qualified, and a member of the Design Association of New Zealand, with over 30 years experience including hands on construction experience.
We know how to use 3d computer assisted design (one of the first in New Zealand), skype, email and phone very effectively as communication tools. as as we have been doing it for decades. We have experience in working in most areas of New Zealand from our studio in Dunedin, and are "localised" within a few minutes. It's called remote working, and no different to talking face to face.
It saves us chargeable time which we pass on to you in lower fees. We may ask you for some photos and simple measurements.
