Hi, I have over 14 years’ experience in the construction industry, for the last 13 years I have worked for Groundworks Limited as a qualified Drain layer, of which the past 7 years as a site supervisor and foreman managing up to 5 staff. I have worked on small, medium to large contracts which include storm water, sewer and water main contracts along with subdivision work, artificial turf fields, retaining wall and earthwall construction.

Job incomplete and workmanship poor. Retaining posts which should have been at 960mm centers varied from 880mm to 1140mm. Backfill of retaining wall not done - Drainage metal simply dumped on the neighbors driveway. Specific instructions to NOT cut the posts off were ignored. This involved the home owner in additional expense to bolt on post extenders. The request for a storm water pipe trench resulted in a ditch that is 600mm above the pipe invert level. Remedial work required by owner.
