Projects

Repainting of Weather Board, Painting of Base Timbers and 4 Windows

The job was located on Henderson Valley Road and the property was used by Childcare. The whole property was water blasted, the weather boards sanded before priming, rusted soakers got replaced, primed by Resene water-based primer, filled all dents and gaps, the surface was sanded for a second time to make is smooth and even, all dust and dirt were cleaned and then painted with 2 coats of Dulux Weathershield water-based paint. The base timbers were water blastered to clean all mould/moss, chemically treated to kill any remaining moss/mould, then primed by Resene water-based primer and painted by 2 coats of Resene Lumbersider paint. In terms of site safety, as the Childcare was open during most of the days, Renolink team used safety fence to limit site access for unauthorized people and the kids. The exterior wall at one side the property was high with approximate height of 10 meters, thus Renolink erected standard scaffolding for the safety of it's team members and others using the property while work was in process. As you can see the before and after photos, the final finish was super and the client was super happy. Thanks to Robert for giving us this job!

Repainting of Bathrooms' Ceiling, Soffit of Exterior Walls and Part of Weather Board

The job was located on Meadowland Drive Howick and included repainting the ceiling of 1-bathroom, interior painting of 1 bathroom, soffit repainting and partial paint of weather boards. The ceiling bathrooms were modified and the location of lights had been shifted thus the old spots needed plastering before painting. As you can see in the photos, the paints of ceilings had really bad condition and, Renolink team scrapped almost all the ceiling paints, sanded the ceilings, primed with Zinsser oil-based paint, skimmed them with plaster compound and sanded to make them smooth and free of any dents. The ceilings and interior of one bathroom were painted by 2 Resene Kitchen and Bathroom paint. The final finish was amazing (you can see in the photos) and the client was super happy. Old flaking/peeling paint stripped to the bear wood

Repainting Windows, 2 doors, Weather Boards and Fascia

The job was located at 24 Pooks Road Ranui in included stripping/scrapping the windows old flaking paint, repainting the windows, weather boards, 2 doors and fascia. The windows needed a good preparation which included taking down the old paint, priming them, filling of all dents and gaps, fixing glass putties and then priming for a second time and then painting. Renolink team, stripped/scrapped the old paint to the bear wood (as you can see in the photos), primed with Zinsser oil-based primer, filled all gaps and dents, sanded the filled sections and all the surface to make them smooth, primed for a second time with Zinsser oil-based primer followed by a light sanding and then painted the windows by 2 coats of Resene Lustacryl paint. The final finish of the windows was super and "they looked like brand-new windows". The weather boards and fascia were water blasted, sanded, primed and then painted with 2 coats of Resene Lumbersider paint. The client was super happy and thanks to Kelvin for giving us this job.

Repainting of 16 Windows, 2 Doors, Fascia and Weather Board Exterior Walls

The job was located at 50 Station Road Otahuhu and the old lead paint of all the 16 windows, fascia and weather boards had to be stripped/scrapped and repainted. Reno-link team safely stripped all the old flaking lead paint of windows (as you can see in the photos), fascia and weather board. The windows were primed in 2 coats by Zinsser oil-based primer and then repainted by 2 coats of Resene Lustacryl water-based paint. Preparation works of the windows, doors, weather board and fascia took longer time as old paint was stripped completely and the wood condition of windows, weatherboard and fascia was very bad and needed filling/skimming to make them smooth, even and ready for application of new paint, that's why 2 coats of oil-based primer had to be applied (one coat before filling the dents on the bear wood and a second coat of primer after filling/skimming the surfaces and sanding the fillers). The final finish was outstanding (as you can see in the photos of after work) and the client was super happy.

The job was located in Woodworths Road Manurewa. The bathroom was full of mould and the wass and ceiling were in a very bad condition.

The quality of Ali's was excellent - he is a perfectionist. Some of the walls were quite uneven due to the gib popping or having been badly patched after previous alterations. By the time he had finished they were perfect! The garage ceiling was in a similar state & he worked miracles there too. He was very obliging & worked around my schedule - for instance, staying late one night while I was away. He is a very hard worker. He had a lovely calm presence, which made it easy to have him around
