Skim Coating 100m2 Home Interior

We have recently moved into a home (floor area 100m2) in Beach Haven and require someone to skim coat the walls as we have removed about 5 layers of wallpaper from the walls and gib is exposed. We still need to seal the walls, but thought we should line up someone to skim coat in the next week or so.

Fireplace Removal or Rendering

We want the Kent wood burner to be removed and the supporting brick work/hearth either removed or rendered. If the brick/hearth was removed we would require the internal wall (and floor?) to be made good, plastered etc. We are open to what are the best and most cost effective options.

Plaster fix up lounge and kitchen

Got a new kitchen going in and early Feb and taking a whole heap of tiles on the wall down. Before the kitchen arrives we also have an electrician rearranging the lighting for the lounge and kitchen so need a plasterer to tidy up after that as well as do some plastering around a set of french doors being put in before New Years. Job needs to be done in week beginning 17-Jan-2011 as the painters are in week beginning 24-Jan-2011

Wallpaper repair around new Ranchslider

We have a ranchslider being installed into an existing opening but will require wallpaper to be finished around the ranchslider. Wallpaper owner has on site. The Slider is being installed tomorrow so would be good to finish on Friday Morning.

Plastering existing walls

I have thoroughly stripped the gib in my hallway, stairwell and toilet, and now need them plastered to a paint finish. The existing gib is in quite good condition, no gaping holes or anything like that. The stairwell is high, so you will need either scaffolding or high ladders you feel comfortable on.

Part of our bathroom (around bath) has new plasterboard, the remaining walls need to be repaired and re plastered ready for painting. The ceiling also needs to be plastered ready for painting.

Repair fibrous plaster ceiling

Water leaks have caused sagging in 3 locations and holes in 2 locations. Also in one location the cornice is water damaged and will require replacing. Approximate areas of sagging 600mm x 600mm [cornice included]. Require damage repaired.

We need a Skim Coater for our 2 bedroom house, we have just finished ripping down all the wall paper, have sanded walls and will be filling in gaps etc. Will do seal coat if required. Will supply all materials and pay cash. If possible need someone to come and quote today 6 April and start 8 April.

Fix up wall destroyed by dog

We have a wall in a room which our dog has ripped open and tore a hole in. He tore up the wiring which we've had fixed but now we need the wall returned to new. I've attached a photo also so that you can see the extent of the damage.

Remove fireplace (similar to a Kent Fire)

Remove fireplace, stone surround and hearth. Please provide separate price to gib / stop as we do have a friend who is able to do this but not the most reliable chap in the world for getting him here. Fireplace is on the second floor of the house (house may have been lifted but presumably this wouldn't affect this job) No idea if chimmney needs to be capped in some way??

2 sqm... The lintel above the garage has a 1970's concrete plaster splatter pattern applied to it which I am grinding off... once complete we just need a skim of concrete applied to it to finish it nice and flat.

bedroom in bungalow had its false ceiling removed 1/4 of the walls have new gib so there is some gibstopping required as well as painting the entire room and ( walls and ceiling) room is approx 4m x 3.5 with high stud , has one window which needs painting as well

Bedrooms need plastering

3 Bedrooms ( 1 ready to go now ) need gib stopping and some skimming. The walls that will need stopping are about 3x3 meters and there are between 4 and 6 total as only a few walls have been replaced. The skimming is just where old built in wardrobes have been taken out. Small job I guess and could be done a few hours each night or whatever suits as not all the walls will be ready at the same time due to space issues and small child needing a room to sleep in.

I have just had a wall gibbed in my lounge. I now would like to get the joins plastered. There are some minor cracks in a couple of places where the builder has cracked the gib edge when screwing the gib up. It's a relatively small, easy job.

Hi, I'm looking at buying a property that is 650 sq m with a 127sq m house on it. I want a rough estimate for extending the house by 35sq m both at the front which has the kitchen/lounge opening into a deck that extends the whole length of the house and extending the back also by 35 sq m.
