Repairs to existing Fireplace

Need to replace the fire board backing behind my free standing fireplace. Fireboard seems to be a heat proof material which has been nailed directly onto the jib to prevent the jib from drying out from the heat of the fireplace.

Fireplace to render

We are looking for a tradesman to finish off rendering our fireplace to a high spec. Looking for fine lines and smooth/polished surface. Currently 2 coats of acrylic render and 1 coat of fine render has been done but needing finishing touches. In addition and within cost, we would like to consider a modern mantelpiece to be built however this is secondary.

Fireplace repairs

I have just bought a house in Red Hill Papakura and need to get the fireplace repaired. The flue is about 4meters long and is rusted through on the seam in a few places, the wetback pipe work is split open and disconnected from hot water. It is a masport fireplace thats 660mm long and 460mm high and 430mm deep. There is some surface rust inside, not sure how bad though. Disconnect heat pump and then reconnect

Have an outdoor heat pump unit which needs to be temporarily disconnected while a concrete slab is pit underneath. Will need to be reconnected once slab is down and set.
