We need a dishwasher put in beside our sink. I can do the joinery work but I need a plumber to put taps onto the copper pipes and a drain into the copper drain. The dishwasher only has 1 water connection so probably only 1 tap needs to be put in (not sure if hot or cold yet) or both if it's not much more cost. 1960's era house. Probably can only do this after 14th October when we get paid next.

Replace Hot Water cylinder (electric)

Currently have installed a 180 L Rheem Hot water cyl approx 30 years old ,Low pressure. Is upstairs in hallway cupboard. Have in Garage a new 180L Mains pressure cylinder (Rheem also) Require a quote for removal of old and install of new including any additional materials. A shower upstairs needs to be reconnected to water. Need to know other considerations or issues we may have.

Bathroom upgrade

We are looking to replace bath wall lining, install new bath, vanity and toilet and possibly screen off washing machine and dryer in the same room. There is at least one rotten floor board under bath. We are in central Wellington but unfortunately up 82 steps from street level! Lay vinyl flooring in bathroom, coved around shower, removal of mould on ceiling and repaint, install extractor fan in bathroom, provide new handle and lock for bathroom door. Erect a 200m2 Totalspan shed

We have done the foundation, or will be done by the end of the week. We were going to put it up ourselves, but are a bit busy at the moment, so looking for some-one to erect the shed for us ASAP. Just the shell no lining, electrics or, plumbing etc. Permits all done. Labour only price please Shed is 3.6m high stud and about 4.9 m at the apex. It will have 3 of 3x3m roller doors.

Home to be built

As we are Master Painters, all painting and decorating will be done by us, as will all bathroom, laundry and kitchen fittings from the wall out. Install Range Hood

Install a new 600mm range hood in kitchen, duct to side of house. I already have the hood and a louver vent, just need the holes cut, hood mounted and ducted to the wall vent (about 1200mm away). There is an outlet in the roof for power.

Retain and Drain

New & Replacement Metal Roof

We have a slopy section and the concrete car park at the front of the house is on a lean (no good for the olds). When it rains the run-off goes right in front of the house. We need the dirt in front of the house retained (about 1m high by 6m wide), a solution to take the water away from the house, and some ideas about what we can do to level the car park. We'll either pave or plant the earth between the house and the car park.

Fix Fall in Gutter

We have internal gutters (Taylor Fascia I think, steel) and at the back of the house it tends to overflow in the middle during very heavy rainfall. When I was on the roof I noticed water pooling in the middle and it wasn't flowing to the downpipe. This is where it overflows. We also need some small flashings put in a couple of places and maybe the roof checked for leaks if any.

Rebuild Retaining Wall

About 9m wide by 1m high, advice and quote crib or timber would be great. Our existing timber wall looks like it was built only for decoration, the poles can't take the load and I don't think they dug deep enough. It is looking rather sad so we need it taken out and a proper wall built. Potential for some landscaping too if it's under budget :)

Replace Hot Water Cylinder

20 year old low pressure (uninsulated) hot water cylinder must go! Would like advice on options to replace, and what else needs to be replaced if mains pressure cylinder is the way to go. Would also like to replace shower cubicle, and prob kitchen mixer - am open to suggestions for best options.

Repair concrete tile roof

~ --- s ex-state house requires repointing of the ridge tiles and cleaning of tile surfaces, and possibly other maintenance. We are not wanting the tiles to be coated, sealed or painted. The house plan has the main rectangle hipped, and a small gable end projection forms an L shape. A clear corrugate roof over a deck is set below the main roof and affects ladder access to the internal corner. Otherwise access is straightforward.
