Parametrix Engineering – mechanical design, 3D modelling and drafting
I'm a senior mechanical designer based in Tauranga, with 15 years' experience designing machinery, structures and equipment for industry. Parametrix is my own business, set up to bring that same quality to smaller jobs.

What I can help with:
- Turning sketches, ideas or an engineer's markups into accurate 3D models and workshop drawings.
- Fabrication drawings for stairs, gates, balustrades, frames and brackets.
- Laser and plasma-ready cut files (DXF) and sheet metal flat patterns.
- Custom parts for boats, orchards, workshops and farms.
- Recreating broken or obsolete parts from samples or measurements.
- Design of non-consented items such as small platforms, jigs, guards and equipment.

How I work: Each project starts with a conversation to understand your requirements. I then provide a clear, fixed-price quote wherever possible and deliver accurate, production-ready drawings that you or your fabricator can work from immediately. For work requiring building consent or engineering sign-off, I can produce 3D models and drawings from your engineer's design.
