Matt & Rob completed multiple repairs and maintenance jobs on our 1880's villa, i.e. Matlock House, originally the Bank Manager's house in Victoria St, Devonport. Both the Scope of Work along with price estimates were provided by Matt up front so we all knew where we were at - this put our minds at ease, young but wise professionalism shown by Matt. Jobs such as rehanging doors, replacing hinges, replacing rotten outside skirts and part of porch, sash window fixes, macrocarpa front gate/s renewal, manhole lid redo. All the jobs were completed quickly with quality workmanship, leaving my Wife and I impressed. We engaged Matt to do a small job for us, modifying a pool shed so that the roof could swing open on a hinge. Matt clearly outlined the best options for the job, and costs involved. The job was completed to a great standard, and in a very timely fashion. At all times his communication with us was excellent. Definitely would recommend. I highly recommend Matt and Rob to anyone looking for incredible builders. They absolutely saved the day when a simple floor repair for a few floorboards turned into a full floor replacement and subfloor repair due to hidden extensive borer damage and some shoddy work by previous builders. Matt scoped the work well in the quote and itemised everything and explained his quote to me. He’s got a great eye for detail and takes pride in the quality of his work. He’s an honest builder and I’m so glad he’s the person I had on the job when it became a nightmare job. Thanks Matt and Rob. I’m so grateful. The floor looks perfect.
