We recently had our toilet system replaced. The Kerikeri crew did an an initial inspection almost immediately and an install date very shortly afterwards was arranged. I don’t often give Google reviews but these guys are awesome! Did a great job cleaning out my gutters - which had some grass growing out of them. Responded to emails fast, replied with a Quote and turned up and did the job within a week. Amazing service and really professional. Even included photos with the invoice. Definitely a tale of two halves, and a learning experience for all concerned. In the first instance, I can't fault the technical expertise of the actual plumber, nor can I fault his patience, good-humour, and willingness to find solutions that work for both parties. On the other side of things, going forward, all parties must ensure that the lines of communication remain open, and that the right hand and the left hand are talking to each other and, that, when both hands are on the same page, that they communicate that information to the client in good time. That being said, as the client, I must remember that communication is a two-way street, and it is on me to follow-up on MY on understanding, and not assume that everyone is thinking what I am thinking. On the other side of that, I have to recognise GWTFs willingness to actually engage - and discuss - and to move forward in good faith in order to achieve a mutually agreeable resolution. -1/2 Star for the damage done to my head banging it against a wall, but overall, very happy with the actual plumbing and the tidy and amicable resolution - especially when it could have disappeared down the path of recrimination and acrimony.
