Good gutter clearing, i only realized later we had a blocked pipe that was causing the problem and it would have been good if they had picked that up, but tbf i didn't ask them to. Reply: Thank you, Sebastian - we appreciate your review.

Jack Swain was brilliant, carefully explaining and showing me what he was doing and then what he had done on the roof to seal the water from getting in the hob vent. Jack explained that he had used the more simple solution to make a fix and informed me a more detailed and costly solution may be required. Unfortunately this was the case of which I agree with him to start with the lesser lower price solution first. Water can be a very tricky customer to exclude. On finishing he showed me pictures of his work and explained not enough rivets had been applied in the first place. Any more plumbing and Jack Swain is the plumber I will ask for to do the job.
