Techniche NZ is a Christchurch-based specialist contractor focused on AV installation, rigging, and technical site work.

Owned and operated by Thomas Forsyth, Techniche NZ takes on jobs that require problem solving, experience, and the right equipment — from AV installs and system upgrades through to fabrication, demolition, and equipment removal.

With 18+ years of hands-on experience across commercial, industrial, and education environments, work is often carried out in live sites where planning, safety, and reliability are critical.

Background includes high-risk work such as working at heights, rigging, and complex installs.
Fully trained and certified in advanced heights, EWP operation, confined space entry, gas detection, and hot works including fire safety.
All work is carried out with a strong focus on safety, planning, and getting it right the first time.
