Techniche NZ is a Christchurch-based specialist contractor delivering practical, high-quality solutions across construction, maintenance, and rural work.
Owned and operated by Thomas Forsyth, Techniche focuses on jobs that require experience, problem-solving, and the right equipment — from demolition and site works through to fabrication, repairs, and installation.
Thomas brings several years of hands-on experience across construction, technical installation, and high-risk work environments. Alongside general contracting, Techniche is actively involved in project work within the education sector, delivering AV upgrades, equipment installs, and infrastructure improvements in live environments where planning, safety, and reliability are critical.
With a background in high-risk environments including working at heights, rigging, and complex installs, all work is carried out with a strong focus on safety, planning, and getting it done right the first time.
Techniche NZ holds $20 million public liability insurance and operates with a wide range of industry tickets and certifications, giving clients confidence on higher-risk or more technical jobs.
