I am a freelance Interior Architect. I studied Interior Architecture at Middlesex University in London and Architecture at Hull University. I have worked for architecture firms, large and small, in UK and NZ. I have also run my own architectural design business, working a project management and also a landscape design company.
Interior Architecture crosses the boundaries of the disciplines of architecture and interior decoration to bring together and design how we interact with the space around us.
While Architecture concentrates on the structure of the building as a whole and Interior Decoration completes a space with colours, curtains and soft furnishings; an area often overlooked is the spatial design of the places that we inhabit every day.
