Navigating the RMA and the resource consent process can be confusing, time consuming and costly. Plan Co. are available to use their experience and expert knowledge in this area to manage the process from initial advice and feasibility ideas through to engaging the correct specialists, to application preparation and submission with the Council and thereafter management of the process to ensure outcomes for their clients.

Projects of any size can be accommodated by Plan Co from standard residential alterations through to subdivision of land and site redevelopments.

No charge for Initial advice and consultation. Thereafter fixed or capped fee proposals can be offered to provide you with security of costs.

With over 13 years of planning experience, consent processing and management of planning teams both in NZ and the UK, Plan Co. Director and Planning Consultant Mark Weingarth brings a wealth of knowledge, understanding and pragmatism in his approach to work. After 4 years working in the UK as a senior planner working on projects from retirement villages, film studios and numerous high density brownfield redevelopments, Mark made the move to Auckland Council where he held roles of senior planner, Team Leader and most recently Lead Consent & Performance Specialist responsible for the day to day performance and delivery of consents in the central resource consent team.

Mark has been involved with many of the Isthmus's largest developments including the Electrification of Auckland's Railway, Alexandra Park's mixed use development, the rehabilitation of Three Kings Quarry, the Warehouse's first venture into multi use development as well as many complex and contentious integrated district and regional consents, complex subdivisions and joint land use subdivision applications. During Mark's experience and time with Auckland Council he has developed a wide and effective network of people and he is known for getting a job done while taking a pragmatic solution focused approach to all obstacles he encounters.
