Continual hissing of toilet

Toilets

After flushing the toilet, it makes a continuous hissing sound, as though water is continuing to run into the cistern. However, the water level appears constant in both the cistern and bowl. The hissing sound will not stop unless the tap is turned off.

I need to install a new sink (sink to be sourced) remove an insinkerator and connect a dishwasher. In addition I have a few other household plumbing issues to address including reconnecting a garden hose tap, fitting gas bottles and testing a gas heater and investigating a leak in my garage.

Bathroom Vanity Install

I have a very small bathroom in need of some TLC. I have bought a second hand vanity and need it installed - and will purchase a new toilet to be installed at same time. Looking for a handyperson to do this plus put up some tiles at side of bath - if possible. The old vanity unit is built in and will need to be removed.

New ballcock washer/ ballcock adjustment

The header tank in the ceiling is not shutting off & water is spilling over & out the overflow pipe. Likely to be a problem with the ballcock. Header tank is in a pitched ceiling - access to the ceiling cavity is good but the header tank is elevated which is a bit awkward. I realise this isn't a big job but we are after a new plumber as we are also considering undertaking kitchen renovations at some point. Our previous plumber was gold plated so need to find a new plumber!
