Advise and install garage door opener for existing door

We have an existing tilt garage door. We'd like to install an automatic opening mechanism with remote/phone control and also ensure the door is lockable. The door is fairly old so will need some advice on if it can be made to work as is or if repair/replacement is necessary. Electrical work would also be required. Garage has power and switch for a light bulb but that is all. Neighbours with similar garage have connected the garage door opener to the power through the light bulb wiring....

I think cedar panels are glued on, bottom is rotten in some areas. Ive repaired so many times but continues to rot out! Ideas and options are welcome.
