I’m looking for someone to urgently provide a quote for repiling a property in Thorndon. Single story cottage and they are possibly original (1890s?) wooden piles. There is no access to under the house (so assuming when the work is done access would need to be through the floor). We have an over 100 year old home. It was repiled in the 1980s. There is a crack in one of the walls and the floor is a bit shaky in that room. It appears that one corner of my house is out of level, up lifting the carpet reveals there is a small gap between the skirting and floor. I would like this checked and remediated, before going ahead with a bathroom make over. There is some reasonable access to the underfloor area. House was built in early mid 90s. Piles and bearer repair

We have recently purchased a house and have discovered a section of bearer has rotted out - seemingly due to ventilation/sealing issues in the area. We are in need of someone to fix this up. The house also has some original piles that may need to be replaced, so would be great to have those inspected at the same time. We would ideally like to get this sorted (at least the bearer issue) in the next 2-3 weeks if possible.
