Replace eaves around outside of house

The eaves around our house have some water damage and need to be replaced all the way around. House is 1950's brick and tile. Needs to be completed in the next 8 weeks Please --- .. last time I had a job posted here only two people turned up to quote, and one didn't bother sending us the quote, the other person got the job just for turning up! If you want the job make sure you have the time and resources.

EQ Damage - Garage Repairs

Our garage (bottom half cinderblock, top half wood) has sagged after the Chch EQ . There is also damage to some of the wood (cracks, holes etc). EQC - Repairs to house

We have been told by EQC in Brisbane to get quotes for the various repairs required to put our house back to the condition it was in prior to September 4th. The house needs repiling and a new roof. Earthquake repairs

We have been visited by EQC assessor and are just now waiting for a structural engineer to look to see if the internal chimney needs to be re-built. We think it will be. This should be in the next 2 months. We can then either get Fletcher building to fix our house, or choose to manage it ourselves. We have had our damage assessed by EQC but feel the payout falls short of what will be needed to repair our house. We need a registered builder/tradesperson preferably registered with Fletchers to provide an independent evaluation of the damage and provide a quote for the repair. Bargeboard repair

a rotten bargeboard needs to be replaced. It also holds the electrical connections from the street to the house. Truck accident recently ripped connections out but they are safe. Job will need electrician to also co-ordinate. Soffeit board also needs rerplacing in same area of front of house.

Build interior stairs to replace spiral staircase OR fix existing spiral staircase

We're currently renovating a home that has a spiral staircase. We have stripped back the spiral staircase to paint around it and are deciding whether to rebuild the spiral staircase, which is currently in use but very rickety and unsafe, or whether to build new staright stairs. Bathroom Renovation

My bathroom in my rental property is small. The ceiling and walls are painted and the ceiling especially is covered in mould. At present the only ventilation is from a window which is closed during the day for security - hence the mould problem. French Doors

Our french doors were damaged in the earthquake and we are needing a quote to have them repaired or replaced. Panels of wood have split and where one door bolts into the floor the wood has been ripped off by the force of the quake. They are out of alignment and cannot be locked. Note, the splitsin the are worse now than when these photos were taken. Temperarily secured for the moment.

Laundry Cupboard

We are moving to a new house in December and require a linen cupboard to be installed in the laundry with a number of shelves and sliding doors - much like a wardrobe. There is a hot water tank in one corner and the current door that houses this would need to be removed and the new cupboard run along the back wall of the laundry. The flooring beneath the cylinder also needs to be repaired.

FIRST JOB ....Put in a spa bath

A spa bath needs fitting into a bathroom...We'd like to replace the aluminuim window with a wooden box window and the sill would provide a shelf along the legth of the spa bath. Fixing damaged windowsill

Following the earthquake a windowsill has buckled and come away from the architrave and gib board beneath the window. There is also a crack between the top of the same window and the cieling in the gib board.

Earthquake Emergency Repairs - support side wall

We have a double brick single-storey side wall that has been cracked in the earthquake. We have been assessed by EQC, however before the actual repairs start we have been told to get it supported immediately in case it falls over. This work would come under the emergency repair provisions of EQC.
